about

this is an album i started in 2014, in the summer. i wrote a full draft that summer - in just a few days actually - but everyone around me told me i should hold on to it & wait to see how i felt, instead of releasing it right away in the middle of a busy year like i wanted. I'm glad i listened - i ended up going back to that first draft some time later & making a ton of changes to it for the better, just getting to tweak everything that was a bit of a mess initially & make sure it was exactly what i first heard in my head when i started writing it years ago.

now, years later, it's done & it gets to come out & i couldn't be happier. youre hearing it exactly the way i wanted it heard, and if i hadn't waited it wouldn't be the same, like this. it's free / pay what you want and as always, all donations are incredibly appreciated & go towards making more music, replacing broken gear, getting to play shows more often & with better stage sets & all of that - but it's totally optional, and something i can't say 'thank you' enough times for. but if you download the music for free, that rules and i'm just glad you're listening, and hopefully you share it with whoever you think might like it - thanks
